These terms explain how selling your car to Car-Ching Limited works and the terms of using this website. Car-Ching Limited is registered in England and Wales (company number 08951603), with its registered office at 33 Station Road, Stannington, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 6DX.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Selling your car

2. Valuations

A valuation assumes that your car:

• is mechanically sound and has no defects;
• has never been an insurance write-off or a taxi; and
• has not been imported.

A valuation is not a binding offer. This preview website does not produce valuations at all.

3. Appraisal and test drive

Every car brought to us is appraised and test-driven before we agree to buy it. Any defects, or differences from the description you gave, may change the valuation offered.

4. Our promise

We buy every car brought to site. In the rare case that the price changes before your appointment, we'll contact you to tell you before you travel.

5. Payment

• There is no charge for the standard payment of money into your bank account.
• A same-day express payment is available for an additional fee, subject to terms, conditions and branch management approval. The team will confirm the current fee before you choose it. Confirm current express payment fee — the existing websites show different amounts

6. What you need to sell

To complete a purchase we need to see:

• a valid V5C logbook;
• MOT details (your last certificate);
• two sets of keys;
• the car's service record;
• photo ID (driving licence or passport);
• proof of address, such as a utility bill or bank statement;
• your bank details, so we can pay you; and
• a settlement letter from the finance company, if the car was bought on credit.

This website is a redesign preview. Its valuation journey is a demonstration only: it does not look up vehicles, calculate prices, take enquiries or book appointments, and nothing you enter is sent to us. For a real valuation, use the live valuation service (opens in a new tab) or call us.

We try to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but please confirm opening hours, fees and anything else important with the team before you rely on it.

You must not misuse the site, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code or interfering with how it works.

We are not liable for any loss caused by relying on information on this preview website. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
