Everything people usually ask before selling their car to us. Something else on your mind? Call the team.
Can you collect my car?
Yes, collection from home or work can be arranged. Speak to the team about your location and the car, especially if it can't be driven to a branch.
What do I need to bring?
Your V5C, MOT details, service history, both sets of keys, photo ID, proof of address and bank payment details. If the car is financed, bring a settlement letter from the lender. See the full checklist
Can I sell a car with outstanding finance?
Tell the team about the finance before your visit. They'll need a settlement letter from your finance company to discuss the sale with you.
How does payment work?
There is no charge for standard payment into your bank account. An express same-day transfer is available for £40, subject to conditions and branch approval. Ask the team to confirm the timings before you decide.
Does the condition affect my offer?
Yes. Your vehicle details, mileage, service history and condition matter. Cars are appraised and test-driven before the sale, and a difference from the description may change the offer.
What if my car doesn't run or has a private plate?
Car-Ching considers non-runners and cars with private plates. Call first so the team can understand the details and help you plan the next step.
Is my valuation the final price?
The final offer depends on your vehicle details and condition, confirmed when the car is appraised and test-driven.
How quickly can I sell my car?
Send us your details and the team will call you with your valuation and arrange a time that suits you. We’re open seven days a week.
When are you open?
